About Youth 4 Sustainability
Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Youth 4 Sustainability (Y4S), a Masdar initiative, invests in and supports the development of young people, enabling them to become the sustainability leaders of tomorrow. Y4S is a year-long, global platform for youth to engage through a series of action-oriented initiatives, hands-on training, and experiences, aimed at driving youth-led conversations, participation, and innovative solutions.
ADSW 2023 will feature the Y4S Hub 2023, a space that aims to bring together over 3000 young people from diverse backgrounds to be enlightened, empowered, and engaged, with leaders, corporations, enablers and ideas, to accelerate climate action and green capacity building for an inclusive, resilient and sustainable future for all.
From January 16 to 18, and under the theme of “Advancing Youth Engagement for Climate Action”, Y4S will host a two-day forum at the Y4S Hub 2023, in the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). The event will emphasize the importance of meaningful youth participation by providing a platform for inclusive climate dialogue.
