About Opening Ceremony & Zayed Sustainability Prize Awards Ceremony
The official Opening Ceremony marks the kick-off for ADSW, bringing the world’s sustainability community together and setting the agenda for the discussions and debate in the week to come.
This prestigious event is attended by 4,000 global delegates, from world leaders and senior policymakers to business leaders, scientists, and academics.
The ceremony is held annually at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) alongside the Zayed Sustainability Prize Awards Ceremony.
Previous editions of the Opening Ceremony have been attended by multiple heads of state, including country presidents, and prime ministers.
